I personally believe it is a privilege to do God’s work because out of all the people in the world, God chose me! It may seem obvious, but it still amazes me how most people don’t realize that we live by the grace of God and hell is justice for our sinful nature. And God opened my eyes to see how heart wrenching it is to hear how many students did not know of what our loving and merciful God did for us. However, it was an honor to tell these students about the gospel. There were plenty of rejection, but I constantly tried to remind myself that they did not reject me, but rejected the God in me. And it is not my duty to convert them, but to plant a seed and leave it in the hands of God. All in all, it’s a given fact that we’re all afraid of being judged, but the verse that helped me to stand in boldness is Acts 18:9-10 “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” Stepping in humility was worth hearing students say, ”It’s too good to be true. What’s the catch?”
