The members of the CSP Team Chicago

From Seattle, to San Francisco, to Los Angeles, to Algonquin, Illinois…the CSP team of campus mentors have arrived in Palatine, Illinois!  The team consists of Ariel Araujo, Kolby Atchison, Cassie Carsrud, Lainey Cray, Michael Cunningham, Jessica McBride, Michael Towson and Justin Yeutter.  Jessica McBride expressed her excitement, “I’m continually blown away by the fact that I’m actually doing something for God and that he’s using me!”  Last night the team prepared for the week in prayer, planning, fellowship and by attending a Palatine high school basketball game!



William Fremd High School in Palatine, IL

After-school rallies are planned on both campuses for January 10-14.  Palatine High School chose the theme “Meant For More” and wants to convey that there is more to life than the daily grind and that in fact, God made us for Himself.  Fremd is tackling some of the big questions in life with their theme “Why?”  Each day the rally answers a different “Why” question, such as “Why save sex for marriage?” and “Why does God love me?”  At each rally, there will be a table of Christian materials such as Gospel tracts and New Testaments for students to take for free.  The Uprising club leaders of both schools will be handing out local church information so that new Christians or students interested in learning more about God can can continue to grow in a church setting.

Palatine High School in Palatine, IL

Please continue to lift up this outreach in prayer.  There are people praying for this event in 8 different states: Washington, Idaho, Wisconsin, Virginia, Indiana, Arizona, California, Illinois!  Specific prayer requests are:

-Please pray that school administration would not interfere with the outreach week.

-Please pray that posters, fliers and t-shirts would prompt Fremd and Palatine students to attend the rallies.

-Please pray that the Christians of both schools would be bold in sharing their faith and inviting their friends to the rallies.

We are so excited to for what God is already doing at Fremd and Palatine high school and what he is going to do this coming week!
