Fullerton Determined to Impact Entire Campus

Fullerton’s Christian club has made it a point to walk around their campus every Friday after school, and strike up conversations with fellow students about God and Christianity! Club members have made it a goal to make sure that every student at Fullerton High School has the opportunity to hear about who God is.

At a five hour meeting with Fullerton’s CSP Mentor, Rachel, the club leaders began to map out three rallies. The first rally is scheduled to take place the first week in December.

Recently, Fullerton High School had a Club Rush. A Club Rush is an event where all the clubs hand out information about their club to fellow students. Not only were they able to hand out Christian materials to students, but Fullerton’s Christian club had over 55 students sign up to join their club this year!

Prayer Request: Unity in club leadership and that administration would not try to inerfere with the club’s goal of impacting their campus.

Praises: The Christian club now has 55 more members!

La Habra High School Taking Initiative!

La Habra High School is hosting a guest speaker at their Christian club on November 12th. The guest is a pastor from a local church and will be sharing the story of Jesus with the high school students! Christian club members have been encouraged to invite all of their friends and pizza will be generously handed out to all students who attend!

Not only is La Habra hosting a guest speaker on the 12th, but the club leaders are currently in communication with atleast 3 other potential speakers! The students are planning on hosting these speakers at their club before Christmas break to build momentum for (bigger!) Spring events! That includes January Project and possibly a rally for the whole campus to attend!

What’s January Project? A week full of activities that take place at multiple high schools in the L.A. area. These events are geared to impact over 1,000 high school students, more specifically, to share who God is with over 1,000 students.

Club leaders, Kim and Bonnie, have taken the initiative to start a weekly girls Bible study! Recently, Kim and Bonnie had about twelve girls sign up, and will be begin meeting this week* Kim and Bonnie are also creating flyers to make sure that every girl on campus hears about this Bible study!

On top of all that, La Habra has just been assigned an additional CSP Mentor! All welcome Zak! Zak is excited to join forces as a Mentor with La Habra High School students alongside of Michael and Aly(CSP Mentors).

Prayer Requests: That students will continue to improve in planning and continue to grow in their walks with God, continually asking God for provision; That students would not get distracted by great events, but remain focused on impacting their campuses for Jesus Christ.

Also, for direction in the girl’s Bible study. They are currently asking God what topics they should discuss.

Praises: Amazing student initiative taking place as far as guest speakers, an anticipated spring rally, and the girls Bible study!

Pacifica High School Christian Club Encourages Teachers!

On Tuesday, October 27th, Pacifica high school students are delivering letters of encouragement to Pacifica teachers that have impacted their lives. Alongside of encouragement, the letters will also inform teachers that the students in Pacifica’s Christian club are praying for them. Each student has selected three teachers to compose letters for, and each letter will be accompanied by a goodie bags filled with homemade brownies and other treats!

Praise: Pacifica students are taking the initiative to express their appreciation and encouragement towards teachers on campus!

Jerilyn and Nick, Campus Mentors at Pacifica high school, have met with Pacifica’s student club leaders, but are having a difficult time scheduling more meetings.

Prayer Request: A time during the week where the Mentors can meet with the Students with no schedule conflict.

Pray for Revival at El Rancho!

Hey there!

Thanks for offering to pray for my school.   Here is what happened:

Yesterday Chris J., my partner JC and I went to visit El Rancho yesterday. We met with 3 people in the club who were so enthusiastic about God, which was so exciting. Apparently, there are on average 15 members in the club, not a bad start for a club. They are planning a rally (date subject to change) on Nov. 12. We marked our calendars for a good amount of events for the rest of this year. Also, they planned a witnessing day every two weeks. They truly have big dreams to expand their club and make a difference in their campus. They also are planning to bond as a club like a family through hang out days and other things and inviting other people to come along. I thought this was a brilliant idea. They already are planning on doing the week long rally March 29-April 2.  I think these kids are truly motivated and I know and feel in my heart that God will bring a revival to this school. I’m so looking forward to this year!

Specifically, I ask prayer for not just a revival but a truly strong foundation in the Christian club as they bond as a family and such.

Thanks for praying!

I appreciate it.   :)
