Thursday was the last day of Share the Passion week for Shurr High School. They decided to have their event in a classroom and around 50 people came! Towards the end of lunch, the club gave an alter call; the number of people who accepted I do not know yet. Good job BASIC with your Passion week!
Hey all you out there. Just wanted to give you an update on today’s rally during lunch… it was Definitely exciting as BASIC had a Christian screamo band play in the amphitheater which totally echoed all throughout campus. The club had balloons, streamers, shirts, and signs, all to publicize the rally on campus. After the band drew a huge crowd, Art, the club president, shared his testimony with the entire school! The club also had a free table which lots of people took from. Tomorrow there’s going to be an alter call so be praying for that! toodles!
It was a busy day for Shurr High School as the students from BASIC (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) put on a short skit as well as had a student testimony. During and after the rally, BASIC passed out about 50 materials to fellow students! 50! Since it was the first day of Share the Passion, I’m sure there’s a lot more great stuff coming from Shurr High School. Keep up the good work!
