“Share the Passion” is Coming!
This month, students at 32 high schools in southern California are being challenged to join a movement for sharing Christ called “Share the Passion.” The goal of this campaign is to expose every high school student on a campus to the good news about Jesus during the week leading up to Easter. In response to this opportunity, many students have embraced the vision of “Share the Passion” and are diligently planning what their outreach weeks will look like. They are also brainstorming ideas with their CSP Campus Mentors about how to get their entire Christian Clubs at their school engaged in the effort.
One of the most exciting ways that the students are preparing for April is to encourage their club members to begin to personally share Christ with others after school. God is clearly already at work, for just today, three students from La Mirada High School indicated decisions to accept Christ! Next week, students at Segerstrom and Bellflower will go witnessing for the first time this semester. Seven schools will take their turn the week after that!
These students are proving that they genuinely have a passion for Jesus that they wish to share with others. Do you have a passion for supporting them? If so, we encourage you to join them! You can pray for “Share the Passion” over this next month and ask God to do mighty works through these courageous students. They are undertaking a difficult challenge and could use all of the love and encouragement that they can get!
