Easter Story 2010

The Thursday preceding Good Friday, California High School’s Christian Club, Campus Light, passed out Easter eggs to their peers. Inside these multi-colored eggs were scripture verses from the gospel of Matthew, candy with Christ insignias, and  invitations to join Campus Light every Tuesday during lunch.

After the Campus Light team handed out the eggs, some of the team members were able to talk with the students about the meaning of the eggs. Some other questions that were asked included, “What’s Campus Light? Where is it located?” Last, Campus Light members invited their fellow peers to the upcoming leadership meeting Thursday, the 15th of April.

Pray for Whittier High School

CSP mentors have not been able to meet with Whittier High School’s Christian Club for a sufficient amount of time. Pray that during the time of waiting, God will be developing strong leaders in the Christian Club of Whittier High School. Also, pray that God would do a work in the CSP leaders that eagerly wait to help Whittier’s Christian Club.

Sunny Hills Update!

CSP leader, Dave, is enthusiastic to be working with Sunny Hills High School. Sunny Hill’s Christian Club shows great initiative in weekly personal witnessing to fellow peers about Jesus. This club is also very conscientious to meet three times a week. All to say that this club’s activities have been occurring even before the mentorship of CSP! Dave, and Sunny Hill’s Christian Club, are both looking forward to an encouraging year of impact!

Prayer Request: That the Lord’s many gifts may be utilized through the members of Sunny Hill’s Christian Club to impact their school for Jesus Christ.

Kerygma Christian Club

In review of October 30, Kerygma Christian Club received a lot of positive exposure during Lakewood High School’s homecoming weekend. CSP leaders, Lainey and Brandon, reported that 360 cotton candy cones were sold during the carnival. As a result, Lakewood High School students gained information on their Christian Club, Kerygma.

Prayer request: That the exposure of Kerygma would allow the students of Lakewood who were unaware of this club to ask questions and to get involved.
